Today's technological sophistication also affects the means of transportation. Where at this time, the fully automatic means of transportation. Like the ship which is very much needed in Indonesia. The tools on the ship must be upgraded to become more sophisticated and advanced. As is the case with the Tugboat KIRANA 8 (TB. KIRANA 8) where daily fuel tank control requires upgrading to make the work of the crew members easier. The control system on the daily tanks that are on the TB ship. KIRANA 8 is still manual because the ship requires specific data about the fuel used when sailing. The control system on the daily fuel tank combined from the manual one to turn on/off the transfer pump will later be made automatic as an optional on the daily tank filler control. The combination combines manual and automatic modes, where the input will work on the pushbutton transfer pump motor as manual mode and the light sensor as automatic mode with the help of a laser module. There will be four pairs of light sensors and laser modules (one on the top, two on the middle, and one on the bottom). Light sensor and laser module installed below to start the pump automatically as well as warning when the fuel is running low (warning in the form of siren and warning light). Then the two light sensors and the laser module in the middle are monitoring the remaining fuel in the daily tank. The light sensor and laser module installed above have a function as a transfer pump circuit breaker (to turn off the transfer pump). At the time of daily tank filling will use manual mode. Monitoring the remaining fuel in the tank daily to make it easier for crew members to see the remaining fuel in the tank without looking at the guessing glass. The control that will be designed later uses the help of Arduino UNO to process the data.

The tools made later are expected to help the work of ship crews on TB. KIRANA 8 in monitoring the daily fuel tank. The control is also equipped with sensors that are useful for monitoring and also as an autoswitch on the transfer pump. Then there are sirens and warning lights to provide information to the crew that the daily tank is filling and from the sound of the siren the crew of the ship will record fuel consumption in the logbook in the past few hours.
