The student who made the title of this Final Project is Mohammad Masrur Shofian from the Ship Electrical Engineering D4 Study Program.
The Control System has a great influence on supervision and control on the ship. This system provides convenience in controlling and operating the condition of the Lube Oil Purifier. However, this function cannot run properly on the old series ships. Therefore, a control system research is needed to update the old system. There has been a lot of research related to the control system, ranging from system design plans to system analysis designs. However, all of them are still in the form of planning with sophisticated and expensive approaches to planning.
In this research, the Alfa Laval Lube Oil Purifier Control System tool is made on a PLC-based ship. The purifier control system functions as a lube oil purifier using centrifugal force, equipped with a PID Heater connected to the SSR to make the temperature optimal, equipped with an alarm system as a safety device, this lube oil purifier uses centrifugal force there is a bowl as an opening and closing to remove solid objects or dirt in the oil.
