(11/17/2022) The 2022 Electric and Electronic Outfitting Inspection Competency Certification was carried out on November 17 2022 to November 19 2022. In this activity there were 50 students from the D4 Ship Electrical Engineering Study Program and 18 students from the D3 Study Program in Ship Electrical Engineering Surabaya State Polytechnic of Shipbuilding and also there were 46 D3 Industrial Electrical Engineering Students of the Madura State Polytechnic where this activity was fully funded by the Independent Entrepreneurial Program. Prior to carrying out the Competency Certification students will receive debriefing for two days on 15-16 November 2022 using a zoom meeting which includes:
- Checking Installation and Cable Connection
- Perform Insulation Resistance Test (Megger Test)
- Conducting Inspection and Testing of Main Lighting and Emergency Lighting
- Performing Inspection and Testing of Navigation Lights
- Carry out inspection and testing of BCC (Bridge Control Console) Equipment
- Perform inspection and testing
- Equipment ECC (Engine Control Console)
- Performing Inspection and Testing of Navigation Equipment
- Examination and Testing of Communication Equipment.
There are several tests that students must take, in which there are written tests and demonstration tests. The written test will be held on November 17 2022 which will be carried out simultaneously by the students and then followed by alternate demonstration tests by the students according to the allotted time.
In the Demonstration Test there are five Assessor Lecturers, namely:
