The student who made the title of this Final Project was Ade Rosi Novita Putri from the D4 Ship Electrical Engineering Study Program.
In the ship's own electrical system, electrical load imbalances often occur. There are so many factors that affect the imbalance of the electrical load. One example is when the operation of the load on the ship is not operated synchronously / the installation time of the load is uneven between phasa 1, phasa 2, and phasa 3.
So in the research entitled "Design and build a load balancing device on a microcontroller-based ship with the decision tree method", a tool was made to realize load balancing on the ship generator using the decision tree method. Decision tree is a method that will be used to group loads and make predictions, because this decision tree itself has a good interpretation of the results. This tool can make it easier for ship technicians to configure the generator as an act of balancing and monitoring the load current l phasa on the generator. This tool will send current sensor data on the generator and ship load to the MCU. As a load current balancer, this tool can move the load phase to another phase automatically working if there is an imbalance in the load current and then the microcontroller will move the load.
