The student who made the title of this Final Project is Brilian Raka Abadi from the D4 Ship Electrical Engineering Study Program.
Indonesia is a maritime country that has many large water areas. Large water areas cause maritime observation to be hampered so that it requires high costs and inefficiency. Though marine parameters such as sea temperature are beneficial for human activities in the field of transportation safety and scientific interests. The height of the waters also affects the ship that will lean. Therefore, the problem taken by the author to develop the technology is to design a control and monitoring system tool called a smart mooring buoy to determine the temperature of sea water, sea water levels, and the location of mooring buoys at high tide and low tide.
In this Final Project design Smart Mooring Bouy installed on the beach to monitor sea level level, area boundaries for mooring ships / boats so as not to damage the environment on the seabed, so that the limits of the beach location point and sea level can be monitored remotely with LoRa. Power supply on mooring bouy utilizes solar and battery sells, it is hoped that the results of research, monitoring coastal boundaries, so that ships do not misturn at night and the safe limit mark of ships for mooring. Sea level sensors, GPS, and water temperature in the sea can be monitored in real time.
